Avatar: The Last Airbender S1
Our team executed a diverse array of visual effects that spanned across every episode of the season. Leveraging a mix of advanced technologies and creative artistry, our contributions ranged from crafting vast, immersive environments to executing complex FX simulations such as fire, water, explosions, and large-scale destruction. We created highly detailed digital doubles, complete with dynamically simulated cloth and hair. Our fully digital scenes brought to life bustling villages, intricate props, and lively digital characters. -
Shogun
ILP had the honour of contributing to 7 out of the 10 episodes for the epic and limited series, Shōgun. With an emphasis on historical authenticity, we were responsible for large-scale Full CG environments, vast crowd work, a devastating landslide and sweeping water simulations. Motion capture was used extensively in both our environment work and ship sequences, displaying thousands of samurai and ship crew respectively. -
The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes
For this highly anticipated prequel to the Hunger Games trilogy, ILP embarked on a visual journey to breathe life into several sequences across this feature. From cg/dmp set extensions transforming many well-known Berlin sights to fit into the Hunger Games universe, to mesmerising explosive fx work, including fire and smoke effects to blow up the iconic tributes’ arena, we were honoured to provide a variety of visual effects for this popular IP. -
Ronja the Robber's daughter
As the main vendor on the show, ILP delivered all the complex sequences and assets for Ronja, including the villainous creature Storvittran and her sisters, the aged but majestic castle Mattisborgen as well as the lush forests surrounding it. -
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny
ILP contributed to or led the VFX for several sequences. Our major work included a full CG environment, dry-for-wet CG & 2D treatments, and critter crowd simulation & hero animation. For the wreck dive sequence, we built a vast, full CG, underwater environment complete with fish, plantlife, and a sunken Roman wreck. When not full CG, a dry-for-wet treatment was applied, blending footage of the actors with CG cloth and hair dynamics to give the illusion of being underwater.
