Being a Pirate is about embracing creativity to find innovative solutions and having fun along the way. It’s all about teamwork, sensibility and caring about every detail of the process, not just the outcome.

We value a generalist approach across disciplines. Pirates are knowledgeable in more than one discipline and have a growth mindset, always keen on pushing the boundaries and learning from each other.

Our talent development team is dedicated to the support of every Pirate, closely collaborating with the workplace team to constantly improve our work environment and create growth opportunities. With our internal programs, we create opportunities to get everyone involved in improving our workflows and supporting each other with show’n tell and workshops.

ILP was founded by artists in Stockholm in 2007. The first office was an oversized cellar in the Old Town and ten years later, we moved into our award-winning head office, located on the island of Riddarholmen in central Stockholm. The office offers not only beautiful views over the city but an attractive workspace with all the amenities to make you feel at home. Whether you're in the gym, cinema, library, karaoke room, or gaming area, every space is designed for comfort, socializing, and inspiration.

In 2022, ILP opened its first international office in Hamburg, Germany. Located in the Altona area, the ILP's vibrant space blends with the area’s cultural and lively social scene. Fussball, darts and local roasted coffee will get you going.

Our London office is in the heart of Shoreditch and opened in 2024. Here you’ll find the fridge fully stocked, the screening room set up and shuffleboard and karaoke-set ready for your battles.

Even though we love working in the office and meeting each other in person, we've fully embraced remote work. This gives Pirates the flexibility they need, tailored to their unique life situations, be it commuting just a few days a month or even living in parts of Europe far from our offices. Our teams have been working across many countries, from Iceland to Greece for the past 4 years and all our workflows are set up to be fully hybrid.

A great crew needs time to celebrate, too. We deeply value the connections created by in-person meetings, and we make sure to find time to enjoy ourselves. We get together at least once a year for Pirate Week, a few days in Stockholm full of inspiring talks, fun activities, and bonding opportunities.

Our Swedish heritage has taught us to appreciate Fika breaks and being all geeks in different ways we have Passion Clubs to fuel our community (Magic the Gathering tournaments, gaming nights, knitting sessions, lunch runs, etc). Not to mention our local events: movie screenings, themed parties, music quizzes, and more.
