Our work revolved heavily around the various magical effects seen across the series, collaborating creatively with the VFX Supervisor to create an FX-based design language consistent across multiple sequences, episodes, and overall effects.
Everything from Dream manifesting and escaping through the portal, to sand tornadoes and water staircases. We created dozens of these effects, each with their own specific set of challenges. We also worked extensively on various environments, both natural and supernatural such as the universe-like Dream world and the burning wastelands of hell and its castle.
